Additionally, The City of Calgary, in collaboration with Cornerstone residents, has begun developing a municipal regional park. The first of three phases opened in 2024 on the east end of 128th Avenue NE, featuring a hockey rink, fitness nodes, basketball court, playground and gathering spaces—a destination for families and neighbours to connect, celebrate and visit.

Since opening in 2015, Cornerstone has become Calgary’s fastest-growing northeast community.
