Wedderburn

Wedderburn is a growing community in north Okotoks. Families are already enjoying the many gathering spaces, paths and greenspaces set against the idyllic backdrop of the Rocky Mountains to the west. Wedderburn’s community amenities include: 

Community Pond + Natural Spaces. A scenic pond and nearby greenspaces anchor the community, with benches and seating areas scattered throughout, inviting residents to relax, watch wildlife meander by or simply enjoy the mountain views. 

Pathways + Safe Route Network. Pathways wind throughout Wedderburn and connect to over 85 km of multi-use trails in the Town of Okotoks Safe Route Network, allowing pedestrians and cyclists to travel safely throughout the town. 

Off-leash Dog Park. A 4-acre off-leash dog park for residents and their four-legged family members. 

Playground + Pump Track. Centrally located spaces for kids to play, stay active and make friends. 

Gazebo + Communal Picnic Tables – Areas for family gatherings, birthday parties or spontaneous neighbourly meetups. 

Shops + Services. Once complete, Wedderburn will include its own retail spaces. Until then, D’ARCY Crossing, located across Northridge Drive, is a large shopping complex with Safeway, Shoppers Drug Mart, professional services and places to eat. Okotoks is also home to larger retailers like Costco, Save-On-Foods and Walmart within 10 minutes of Wedderburn.
